Within the framework of the act of solidarity with the Cuban people and condemnation of the economic, commercial and financial blockade maintained by the United States government against Cuba, which took place in the gardens of the Museum of Imprisoned and Exiled Combatants from the period 1967 to 1974, the Commemorative Seal "ICAP's 60th Anniversary" was delivered to the "José Marti Cultural Association of Solidarity with Cuba in Greece". Ambassador Aramís Fuente Hernández, presented the distinction on behalf of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, to the directors of the Association, expressing that it constitutes a fair recognition for the active work that its members have maintained in defense of the Cuban Revolution. and its contribution to the disclosure of the truth about its political, social and economic transformations. Alekos Chalvatzis, representing the Coordinating Committee of the aforementioned Association, received the distinction and, expressing his gratitude, reaffirmed once again the solidarity and support of the Greek people for the Cuban people.
