Concert of Cuban Classical and Jazz Music in The Hague

The Hague, 6 May 2018.  Cuban pianists and composers Ramón Valle and Gustavo Corrales gifted the audience at the Lutherse Kerk, in The Hague, with their excellent performances on Sunday, which also included with the premiere at two pianos of two original pieces: Valle's Johanna and Corrales's Guantánamo.  

 

The Program of the concert, masterfully performed, included classics by Lecuona, with special arrangements by Valle, as well as compositions penned by both artists, which showcase their creative versatility. 

 

Members of the Latin American diplomatic corps, representatives of the community of Cuban residents in Aruba, Curaçao and other islands of the Netherlands Antilles and public general attended this concert.

 

At the end of the concert, the Ambassador of Cuba and members of the Cuban diplomatic mission presented the artists with flower bouquets. This concert was tyhe perfect opportuntity to showcase once more the quality of the artists trained by the system of schools of art in Cuba and the high level of acceptance of Cuban culture.
