The condemnation continues: Parade against the blockade against Cuba in Kingston.

Kingston, 29 October 2023. Organised by the Cuba Solidarity Movement, a Parade against the blockade took place this Sunday in the area known as "Kingston Waterfront". It was also attended by Graduates in Cuba, Cuban residents and members of the State Mission.   

In the words of Trevor Brown, President of the Jamaica-Cuba Friendship Association, the blockade is an inhumane policy that affects an entire people. He called for an end to this policy, as well as the removal of Cuba from the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism. He reaffirmed his confidence that the international community will once again condemn the actions of the US government in the voting on the Cuban resolution at the United Nations on 1 and 2 November.
