Conference on Cuban foreign policy at Victoria University.

Wellington, October 5. Ambassador Edgardo Valdés made a presentation on Cuba's foreign policy in the current international scenario, before a large group of students of various levels and profiles from Victoria University in this city.

Relations with the United States, the effects of the blockade, Cuba's international cooperation, our presidency of the G77+China, and ties with New Zealand were among the topics addressed.

With emeritus professor Roberto Rabel acting as moderator, the ambassador answered numerous questions from those present in an exchange that lasted two hours.

This event continues a previous presentation at the Center for Strategic Studies of said university, which illustrates the growing interest in Cuba among different generations of New Zealanders.
