Together with other Ambassadors and diplomats accredited in Greece, I attended the session of the Conference on the New Pact on Migration and Asylum, held on April 4 in the “Giannos Kranidiotis” amphitheater of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Athens. Among other topics, the “New Pact on Migration and Asylum: Perspectives, Concerns and Challenges” was addressed.
The inaugural speech was given by the Hon. Mrs. Alexandra Papadopoulou, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, which was followed by an intervention by Mr. Andreas I. Pottakis, Greek Ombudsman.
The attendees also listened with great interest to the words spoken by the Hon. Mr. Dimitris Kairidis, Minister of Migration and Asylum of the government of the Hellenic Republic.
