Laos Vientiane August 13, 2023. The Embassy of Cuba in Lao PDR, thanked the warm message of the Laos-Cuba Friendship Association, on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the birth of the Commander in Chief, undefeated leader of the Cuban Revolution, who saw the light the 1st January 1959.
The friendly letter states¨:
"On the eve of Fidel's birthday, we continue to pay tribute to this historic leader of the Cuban Revolution and we continue to demand that the United States government respect the sovereignty, dignity and legitimate right to self-determination of the brotherly people of Cuba."
Dissimilar mentions and profound reflections were exchanged in the forum of ideas organized on the occasion of the memorable date, in which important passages of his substantial and multifaceted national e international career were highlighted, as well as his transcendent leadership of the Revolution.
The message reflected three fundamental aspects:
• The criminal and cruel blockade against Cuba must be lifted immediately without conditions
• The arbitrary inclusion of Cuba in the list of countries that support terrorism must be eliminated.
• With the support of the wave of solidarity of the peace-loving and justice-loving peoples of the world, Cuba will win.
Other heartfelt expressions closed the day, among them those of "Until Always dear invincible Commander in Chief of the Cuban Revolution and great friend of the humble peoples of the world" #FidelForever!!!!
