Consul General of Cuba is received by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye in Istanbul.

The General Consul of the Republic of Cuba in Istanbul, Raúl E. Madrigal Cárdenas was received by Ambassador Ayşe Sözen Usluer, Director of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye in this city.

During the meeting, Ambassador Usluer welcomed the Cuban diplomat and praised the decision of the Government of the Republic of Cuba to open a consular representation in the largest city in the country. The Cuban diplomat expressed his interest and commitment to continue developing economic, cultural and cooperation ties between the two nations, as well as strengthening ties with the Cuban community residing in Istanbul and other nearby provinces.
