Oslo, August 9, 2024. The Consular Office of the Cuban Embassy in Norway will begin implementing the new electronic tourist visa system called eVisaCuba, starting on Monday, August 12, 2024.
This system will allow for a more efficient service, facilitating and speeding up the visa process for all those wishing to travel to Cuba for tourism purposes.
With eVisaCuba, users should complete their tourist visa application process online, from any device connected to the Internet, through the web site https://evisacuba.cu/en/inicio.
It is important to be very careful when filling in the requested data, mainly names and surnames, passport number and citizenship.
The visas will be issued in the form of an alphanumeric code that will be sent to the email address provided by the user at the time of application. This code will be activated when the user enters the Dviajero platform (https://dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu/inicio), which must be accessed up to 7 days before the date of departure. Once the Dviajero form is completed, the user will receive a QR code in their email with the visa and the information completed in the form.
The cost of the e-Tourist Visa will be the same as the Tourist Card. The additional fee previously charged when the visa was requested by a third person or by post is eliminated.
To apply for the e-Tourist Visa, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months.
- Complete the online application procedure in the site https://evisacuba.cu/en/inicio
- Provide proof of payment for the visa when making the online application.
Payment should be made by bank transfer to our DNB bank account 70580579556 before requesting the service. Taking into account that bank transfers do not appear in our account statements immediately, we suggest that payment be made 48 hours in advance of the date you would like to receive the consular service, which cannot be offered until we have confirmation of the payment.
