Cuba and the Bahamas promote a greater educational exchange

Nassau, November 13th, 2017.-The Ambassador of Cuba in the Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, recently visited several schools in Nassau, as part of the educational exchange between both countries and the promotion of bilingualism in the Caribbean nation.

During the tour of various educational centers of primary and secondary education, the diplomat exchanged with teachers and students about the current Cuban reality, the national symbols, the relations between both countries and the importance of the knowledge of several languages ​​for the formation and future of the students.

Likewise, the Ambassador referred to the features of the educational system in Cuba and the existing collaboration on Education with The Bahamas, based on the presence of a Cuban brigade of 52 teachers at present.

Several national media outlets reflected the exchanges of the diplomat with the students, highlighting the importance that both nations attach to this sector.
