Cairo, March 27, 2025. At a meeting held at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry headquarters, Cuban Ambassador Alexander Pellicer Moraga and the Assistant Minister for Multilateral and Security Affairs, Ambassador Amr Aljowaily, reaffirmed the willingness of both nations to maintain close ties in the multilateral sphere.
During the meeting, they exchanged on issues of interest in the multilateral sphere and highlighted the excellent collaboration between both countries within the framework of the different international organizations. The high level of coincidence on the main issues of the international agenda, particularly on the Palestinian question, was also highlighted.
The Cuban Ambassador thanked Egypt for its traditional support to the Cuban resolution against the blockade and updated his counterpart on the damage it continues to cause to the Cuban people.
For his part, the Egyptian Deputy Foreign Minister reaffirmed his country's position of support for Cuba in its struggle for the lifting of the unjust blockade. (Embacuba Egipto)
