Cuba and Egypt talk about cooperation in the field of sports

The meeting held yesterday, January 9, 2019, between the Assistant for Public and External Relations of the Minister of Youth and Sports of Egypt and the Counselor of the Embassy of Cuba in Egypt, Dennis Casares Benítez, took place in an atmosphere of friendship and respect. The General Director for International Relations of that Ministry also participated in the meeting.

In the meeting, which lasted for more than an hour and a half, the possibilities of cooperation between both countries in sports, including the anti-doping fight, were analyzed, and also the interest of both parties was expressed in taking advantage of the strengths of both countries in the field of sports.
