Vientiane August 8, 2022. Deputy Minister Khanthaly Siliphongphanh of the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Lao PDR, received the Cuban Ambassador Enna Esther Viant Valdes at the headquarters of that organization.
In the midst of a pleasant and warm atmosphere, relevant moments of Cuba's decisive help in the systematic training of sports teams and talents during previous stages were reviewed, including gold medals, achieved by the RDPL in different regional and international sports events, with mention of the Olympics Games held in Barcelona in 1992. On this occasion, ideas were discussed to continue strengthening the bilateral exchange.
The Lao leader offered a warm welcome to Ambassador Viant Valdes, along with her work team, while assuring that She was convinced of the impetus and support of the Cuban diplomatic Embassy for new concrete actions aimed at expanding cooperation in the sports sphere.
