Cuba and Malaysia exchange on Multilateral issues

Kuala Lumpur, October 3, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia, Yadira Ledesma Hernández, held a broad exchange with the Under-Secretary-General for Multilateral Affairs, Ambassador Dato' Bala Chandran Tharman, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.

After reaffirming the close ties of friendship between Malaysia and Cuba, they discussed global issues of mutual interest and efforts to strengthen cooperation, especially in multilateral forums.

As members of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), Cuba and Malaysia share the commitment to defending multilateralism and respect for international law.
