Cuba and Nigeria strengthen their bilateral ties.

Nigeria, March 10, 2023.- The Cuban ambassador in Abuja, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, received a delegation from the National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA) at the headquarters of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission. of Nigeria and the African Union Agency for Development (AUDA-NEPAD) Center of Excellence in Science, Technology and Innovation (STI)

During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat exchanged with Professor Abdullahi Mustapha, director general of NABDA and with Florence Nazare, interim director of Program and Knowledge Management of AUDA-NEPAD, elements of common interest in the field of biotechnology, medicine and agriculture, assessing the possibility of continuing to deepen bilateral relations in mutually beneficial areas for our countries.

The Cuban Ambassador thanked Professor Abdullahi Mustapha and Florence Nazare for their visit, as well as the rest of the delegation, which was made up of Olalekan Akinbo, supervisor, Susan Dada, staff member, Charlotte Ague, administrator, from the Center of Excellence in Science, Technology and Innovation from the African Union, as well as Dr. Shakirat solebo, Toyin Omozuwa, Nkiru Amakeze and Kunle Daramola, from NABDA.

They participated on the Cuban side; Director Pavel Bauzá Fusté.
