Cuba and Rwanda evaluate cooperation possibilities in health

Rwanda, October 24, 2018.- During a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health of Rwanda, at six o'clock yesterday afternoon, Cuban Ambassador in that country Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre and the Minister of State for Public Health and Primary Care, Dr. Patrick Ndimubanzi, evaluated the perspectives of cooperation in health between their respective countries.

The Minister of State praised the high quality of the health system of the island and expressed his interest in having in his country the services of Cuban professionals in the field in the near future.

The Ambassador, for his part, thanked the Rwandan leader for his interest in establishing collaborative relations with the Caribbean island and reiterated the willingness of the Government of Cuba to contribute to the development and strengthening of friendship and cooperation between both nations. .

The meeting took place in a climate of frank camaraderie. (Embacuba Uganda)
