Cuba and Saint Kitts and Nevis evaluate new steps in Health cooperation.
Basseterre, June 7, 2023- Dr. Sharon Archibald, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, received this morning at the headquarters of the Ministry, the Ambassador of Cuba, David Rivero Pérez to address various issues of common interest.
The meeting was propitious to review the state of bilateral cooperation in health and the actions to gradually increase the number of Cuban cooperants in the sister Caribbean nation.
Recently, in the framework of the 76th World Health Assembly held in Geneva, Switzerland, Dr. Archibald and the Minister of Health of Cuba, Dr. José Ángel Portal Miranda, also held a meeting where they reiterated their willingness to consolidate and diversify the cooperation links in this matter, with a greater impact on the work of Cuban doctors in the Federation.
