INDER delegation conducts working visit to Toronto

Following meetings with authorities in Quebec and Ottawa, the delegation from Cuba's National Institute of Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation (INDER), headed by First Vice President Raúl Fornés, conducted a working visit to Toronto to hold exchanges with Ontario authorities.

The morning began with the delegation being welcomed by the Head of Protocol of the Parliament and a guided tour of the Ontario Legislative Building, the seat of the Government, Parliament, and the Lieutenant Governor of the province.

Bill's bats will continue to hit home runs in Cuba

On the second and final day of work in Ottawa, the delegation headed by the First Vice President of Cuba's National Institute of Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation (INDER), Raúl Fornés Valenciano, held a fruitful and relaxed exchange at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Canada, with the staunch friend Bill Ryan. The meeting was conducive to exploring ways to strengthen cooperation with Cuba and to once again convey admiration and gratitude to Bill for so many years of faithful friendship with the Cuban people.

Quebec's interest in exchange projects

On their second day of work in Quebec, the First Vice President of Cuba's National Institute of Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation (INDER), Raúl Fornés Valenciano, and the accompanying delegation, paid tribute to National Hero José Martí, at the bust located, along with monuments of other regional heroes, in the Latin America Park of this city.

Subsequently, they held a pleasant meeting with Maxime Lamarche, Managing Director of Baseball Quebec, and other directors of associations related to that sport. The mutual interest in exchange projects was confirmed.

Cuban ambassador visits the Liberian ministry of health and well-being.

The Cuban Ambassador, Dr. Indira López Arguelles, recently visited the Ministry of Health and Welfare of Liberia, where she met with its executives, and spoke with the Honorable Minister, Dr. Louise M. Kpoto.

All of the those present there, recalled the heroic work of Cuban doctors during the Ebola epidemic, and during Covid, and addressed the possibilities of strengthening the links between this sphere between both nations.

Cuban Ambassador and Liberian Deputy Minister of Finance exchange on cooperation modalities.

The Honorable Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Dehpue Zuo, received the Cuban ambassador to Liberia, Dr. Indira Lopez Arguelles.

Hon. Mr. Zhuo, while thanking the island's support in the training of Liberian professionals, and the selfless work of Cuban doctors (during Ebola and COVID pandemics), delved into the interest of strengthening economic, commercial and cooperation ties with the Caribbean island.

CUBAN AMBASSADOR AND LIBERIAN VICE CHANCELLOR REVIEW BILATERAL ISSUES.

The Honorable Dr. Ibrahim Al-bakri Nyei, Liberian Vice Minister for International Cooperation and Economic Integration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Monrovia held a fruitful exchange of bilateral issues with the Cuban Ambassador Dr. Indira Lopez Arguelles.

Aspects of mutual interest were revisited in order to strengthen the bilateral ties between both nations

The Cooperation between Saint Kitts and Nevis and Cuba strengthens with the incorporation of the first UNECA S.A. brigade in the country.

This weekend, four professionals in the construction sector arrived in Basseterre and will form the first brigade of the Union of Companies CARIBE S.A (UNECA S.A.) in this Caribbean nation. Three civil engineers and an architect, are the cooperants who have just joined the Cuban state mission in the Federation. These, accompanied by the Ambassador of Cuba, David Rivero Pérez, were received by the Minister of Public Infrastructure, Konris Maynard, the Permanent Secretary of that ministry, Daryll Lloyd, as well as by other managers and officials of the Department of Public Works.
