The recently appointed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health of this Federation, Dr. Sharon Archibald, accompanied by the new Head of Medical Institutions, Dr. Jenson Morton, came this Monday at the Cuban Embassy in St. Kitts for their formal presentation to the diplomatic staff.
We received at the Cuban Embassy in Saint Kitts and Nevis, the eight young people who will benefit this year from the government cooperation program in education, which the Greater Antilles offers to CARICOM countries and many others from the rest of the world.

On the afternoon of this Tuesday, the Ambassador of Cuba Fermín Quiñones paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Derrick McKoy, Attorney General of Jamaica, at his offices in New Kingston. In the brief but cordial meeting, both officials shared the interest of strengthening cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of Jamaica and Cuba, with emphasis on academic and professional exchanges.
Kentisha Daley is a young doctor from the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis who graduated from medicine in Cuba. She returns to Cuba to carry out postgraduate studies, as part of the cooperation agreements between the Antillean island and CARICOM countries.
Minister of Public Security General To Lam has suggested that his ministry and the Cuban Ministry of the Interior should continue their mutual support in the areas of their strength.
At a reception for Pedro Soca Pascual, representative of the Cuban Ministry of the Interior in Hanoi on April 8, Lam said that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the two sides have effectively carried out cooperation activities both online and in person.
