Cuba and Saint Lucia strengthen cooperation in the field of hydraulic resources

A delegation from the Cuba Hydraulics Company (Cubahidraúlica), headed by the Director General Manuel Font Garcia, concluded today an intense day of work in Saint Lucia, during which they held different meetings with the Water and Sewage Company of this country, WASCO. A noteworthy moment during these meetings was the forging and concretion of a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the President of WASCO, Francis Denbow and the Director General of the Cuba Hydraulics Company (Cubahidraúlica) and which seeks to pursue and achieve cooperation in different aspects of the management and operation of potable water and residual water services and which also offers the capacity to give technical assistance to WASCO.  The delegation of the Cuban company also composed of Gisel Perez, Exports Director and Alnerys Prieto, Specialist from the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources; accompanied by Alejandro Simancas, Ambassador of Cuba in Saint Lucia. Their program in this country also included meetings with Honorable Ezechiel Joseph, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, Physical Planning and Natural Resources as well as with Honorable Stephenson King, Minister for Infrastructure, Ports, Energy and Labour.  At the aforementioned meetings, they exchanged on possibilities for increasing cooperation as well as business and service relations between the two countries.
