Riyadh, April 30th - The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga, was received at the headquarters of the Consultative Council (Shura) by the president of the Saudi Arabia-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Committee, Dr. Fahed Ben Abdullah Al-Tayash, with the purpose of establishing working relations and reviewing the state of bilateral relations in the legislative field.
The Cuban diplomat congratulated Dr. Al-Tayash on his election as president of the Parliamentary Committee of Friendship after its recent constitution. Both sides also committed themselves to work on the promotion of exchanges of parliamentary delegations.
They also took the opportunity to review bilateral links between the Kingdom and Cuba in other areas and exchanged on the upcoming 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Saudi Arabia. (EmbaCuba Saudi Arabia)
