Cuba in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, April 20 – The Undersecretary for International Multilateral Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga, in which they exchanged on issues on the bilateral agenda

During the interview, both diplomats confirmed the excellent state of relations at the multilateral level. In addition, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to working to strengthen ties between both nations, within the framework of the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, which will take place next year.

The Ambassador of Cuba was received by the Governor of the Riyadh region.

Riyadh, May 12th - The Ambassador of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga, was received by the governor of the Riyadh region, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the governorate headquarters.

During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat thanked for the opportunity to be received by HRH, to whom he expressed his intention to support projects of common interest for the respective countries.

Cuba and Saudi Arabia exchange on parliamentary relations.

Riyadh, April 30th - The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga, was received at the headquarters of the Consultative Council (Shura) by the president of the Saudi Arabia-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Committee, Dr. Fahed Ben Abdullah Al-Tayash, with the purpose of establishing working relations and reviewing the state of bilateral relations in the legislative field.

Riyadh, February 13th - The new designated Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga, was summoned to the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to present Copies of his Letters of Credentials to the Deputy Minister for Protocol Affairs, Abdulmajeed Al-Smari. The Third Secretary of the Embassy, Vicente Ibrahin Abad Abad, also attended the meeting.
