Cuba and Saudi Arabia set up Joint Business Council

Riyadh, November 27th – With the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba (CCRC) and the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC), the Joint Business Council between both countries was officially established. It will allow to better enjoy future business and investment opportunities, in order to promote economic and commercial relations.

The document was signed by the president of the CCRC, Antonio Carricarte Corona, and his Saudi counterpart, Mr. Hassan Muajeb Al-Hwaizy.

Riyadh, September 18th – Ambassador Vladimir Gonzalez visited the headquarters of the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC), where he was received by its new president, Hasan Mujeb Al-Hwaizy, who assumed this high responsibility last January. The acting secretary general of the federation, Waleed H. Al-Orainan, was also present in the meeting.

Riyadh, September 15th – The Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, as well as the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen, which are part of the so-called Group of 77 and China, are well represented at its summit of Heads of State and Government that, under the theme: "Current Development Challenges: Role of Science, Technology and Innovation", is celebrated on September 15th and 16th in Havana, Cuba.
