Riyadh, October 10th - The visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the official Cuban delegation, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, concluded successfully.
During its stay in Riyadh, the delegation, made up of the minister and deputy minister of Tourism, the deputy minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, the general director for Bilateral Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the general director for Development in the Ministry of Tourism, developed an intense and fruitful journal of work.
In this sense, they held interviews with high authorities of the Kingdom, such as the ministers of Commerce, Tourism, Environment, Water and Agriculture, Sports and Investment, as well as with the executive president of the Saudi Fund for Development, the president of the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the general supervisor of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. All this, with the purpose of reviewing the state of economic, commercial and cooperation relations, and analyzing the ways to promote them and bring them to the same level as political and diplomatic ties.
The delegation also had the opportunity to visit places of historical and cultural interest, and to share with a representation of the Cuban State Mission in Saudi Arabia.
This visit has been an important milestone in the history of bilateral relations between Cuba and Saudi Arabia, and will serve as a starting point to develop new ideas and projects that will contribute to consolidate bonds in different spheres. (EmbaCuba Arabia Saudita)
