Riyadh, July 26th - The members of the Cuban State Mission residing in the Saudi capital met in the afternoon at the Residence of the Ambassador of Cuba, to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the Assault on the Barracks "Guillermón Moncada" and "Carlos Manuel de Céspedes”, an event known in our contemporary history as the Day of National Rebellion.
The activity was introduced by Ambassador Miguel Porto, who in his speech made reference to the celebration of the anniversary that motivated the meeting and refer the chapter 1 of the Documentary: "De Madrugada" "El Mayor" by the outstanding director, Omar Olazabal, which would be shown on the occasion.
The evening was an opportunity to exchange with Cuban residents in Riyadh and colleagues from the accredited diplomatic corps. (EmbaCuba Arabia Saudita)
