Riyadh, April 20 – The Undersecretary for International Multilateral Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga, in which they exchanged on issues on the bilateral agenda
During the interview, both diplomats confirmed the excellent state of relations at the multilateral level. In addition, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to working to strengthen ties between both nations, within the framework of the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, which will take place next year.
The Cuban head of mission thanked the Saudi support for the Cuban resolution: “Need to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba,” which is voted on annually in the United Nations General Assembly.
Likewise, the Ambassador denounced the discredit campaigns of the US government against Cuban medical collaboration around the world and the inclusion of Cuba, by the Trump administration, in the unjust list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
