Singapore, August 27, 2026. Ambassador Lisbet Quesada paid an excellent visit to the Singapore Sports School, where she was welcomed by its Principal, Ong Kim Soon, and his team.
We received recognition for the high standards and quality of our sports program, as well as for the number of medals our country has won since the triumph of the Revolution—even amidst a landscape affected by the intensified, illegal U.S. blockade.
We reaffirmed the potential for inter-institutional cooperation regarding athlete training and the exchange of experiences.
The Singapore Sports School is an independent specialized school operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth. It was officially inaugurated on April 2, 2004, by Goh Chok Tong, then Prime Minister of Singapore. The school offers young people an integrated academic and sports program within a world-class environment.
