The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, and the Permanent Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Busadee Santipitaks, chaired this Friday the Second Round of Political Consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries.
During the exchange, the good state of bilateral relations was confirmed in the year of the 65th anniversary of their establishment and the will of both parties to continue consolidating dialogue and diversify cooperation in areas of common interest was ratified.
Both parties highlighted the recent visit to Cuba of the Director General of the Thai International Cooperation Agency (TICA), an opportunity in which she identified a large number of potentials to promote mutually beneficial projects.
The Thai side reiterated its traditional support for Cuba's demand to end the blockade imposed by the United States government on the Cuban people.
