Cuba condemns the despicable accusation against the Leader of the Revolution

The Revolutionary Government condemns in the strongest terms the despicable accusation by the United States Department of Justice announced on May 20 and proclaimed for several weeks against Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution.

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge attended the Royal Plowing and Sowing Ceremony. 

The Royal Plowing and Sowing Ceremony (Phra Ratcha Phithi Charot Phra Nangkhan Raek Na Khwan) is an ancient Brahmanic and Buddhist ritual that marks the traditional start of the rice planting season and pays tribute to farmers. 
King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) usually presides over this annual event on the Sanam Luang esplanade, in front of the Grand Palace in Bangkok.

Cuban Consul Niurka de la O, as a member of the Organizing Committee of the Thai Silk Festival, attended the signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding at the Thai Ministry of Education.

The Office of the Vocational Education Commission and the Association for the Promotion of Thai Silk and Culture signed a memorandum of understanding to expand cooperation in vocational education and the development of textile design and Thai silk. The agreement supports training in traditional textile arts, while promoting Thai silk through educational programs and cultural activities.
