The Cuban Embassy in Thailand is paying tribute to Fidel Castro (1926–2016), the historic leader of the Revolution, on the ninth anniversary of his death.
The Commander-in-Chief dedicated his life to promoting education, health, science and international solidarity — principles that continue to inspire efforts both in and outside Cuba. His legacy continues to inspire generations who grew up with the belief that a better world is possible.

The exaggerated and aggressive military presence of the United States in the region constitutes a threat against Latin America and the Caribbean as a whole.
With the encouragement of the Secretary of State, the main and immediate target is the violent overthrow of the government of Venezuela through the use of U.S. military force, an extremely dangerous and irresponsible action with unpredictable and incalculable consequences.

The Government of the Republic of Cuba rejects the mendacious allegations being spread by the United States Government concerning an alleged involvement of Cuba in the military conflict in Ukraine. This is a slanderous accusation first launched in 2023 by certain media outlets without offering any evidence or substantiation of any kind, and clearly serving an assigned purpose.

It is an opportunity to engage with those interested In Cuba’s role at the UN, our priorities and our views on the current complexities of international affairs, in particular the threats to countries of the South.
