The headquarters of the Communist Party of Cuba hosted a fraternal meeting between Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), and Kemal Okuyan, Secretary-General of the Communist Party of Türkiye (TKP).
During the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continue strengthening the historic bonds of friendship and cooperation that unite the two communist parties.
Morales Ojeda emphasized that “it is always a source of satisfaction to hold meetings that contribute to further strengthening the relations between the Communist Parties of Cuba and Türkiye.”
For his part, Kemal Okuyan described the relations between both parties as “very sincere and profound,” highlighting them as an example of friendship built upon strong ties of fraternity.
As an outcome of the exchange, an Agreement on Exchange and Cooperation was signed, aimed at further enhancing the ties between both organizations and improving mechanisms for political dialogue at different levels, with the purpose of deepening inter-party friendship and collaboration.
The agreement also seeks to promote initiatives in governmental and business spheres, directed at further strengthening economic and commercial relations between Cuba and Türkiye.
