Cuba and the United Arab Emirates reaffirm mutual support in the multilateral sphere

The Ambassador of Cuba in the UAE, Norberto Carlos Escalona Carrillo, paid a courtesy visit to Shaima Al Ali, director of the Department of International Organizations of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

During the meeting, both representatives congratulated themselves on the good state of relations between Cuba and the UAE and their customary support in the multilateral arena. Likewise, they highlighted the existence of common priorities in the foreign policy of their countries for 2023, the year in which Cuba chairs the G77 Group + China and the UAE organizes the celebration of the Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP 28), which will take place in November in Dubai.
