Cuba and Zimbabwe for the strengthening of diplomatic relations and the diversification of cooperation

The acting director of Europe and the Americas of the Foreign Ministry, Mr. Charles Chishiri received the chargé d'affaires a.i. Cuban, Yoisy Ford García at the headquarters of the Zimbabwean Foreign Ministry. At the meeting, the strong historical ties between both countries and the willingness to expand cooperation ties in the sectors of Agriculture, Sports, Culture, among others of common interest, were highlighted. The occasion was propitious to reject the US blockade against the Greater Antilles and the illegal sanctions of the US and other Western countries against the sister nation of Zimbabwe.
