ATHENS, Greece, December 8, 2025 – Cuba made its debut at the 12th Athens International Tourism and Culture Fair, marking a milestone in its efforts to strengthen the Caribbean island's presence in the Greek and Southeast European markets.
The Cuban delegation, headed by the Cuban Ambassador to Greece, Aramis Fuente Hernandez, and including the island's Tourism Counselor for the region, Yanet Mora, and the Director of Contracting for Europe of the Blue Diamond Resorts hotel chain, offered industry professionals, tour operators, and the general public a detailed overview of Cuba's charms as a safe, culturally rich, and diverse tourist destination.
In its debut at this important forum, the Cuban stand served as a platform to showcase the variety of its tourism offerings, ranging from its world-famous beaches to its cultural heritage, history, and natural beauty. The Cuban presence aims to increase the flow of visitors from Greece and the Balkan countries, positioning Cuba as a unique and memorable destination.
