Cuba attended the International Conference on the Situation in Palestine

Ambassador Daylenis Moreno Guerra attended the International Conference on the oppression and displacements experienced by the Palestinian people under the current war situation, an event organized by the United Nations Organization through the Committee for the Defense of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Dakar.

The program included meetings with the Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs of Senegal, Ms. Yassine Fall, and the Commission of Foreign Affairs of the Senegalese National Assembly.

Similarly, members of the Bureau who attended the Conference visited the Conference visited the prestigious Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar and exchanged ideas with the Rector and the management team. This center of advanced studies is recognized as a strong advocate for the Palestinian cause.

Cuba maintains its solidarity with the Palestinian people and demands an end to the genocide they are suffering. Notably, Cuba was the third country to join the lawsuit filed by South Africa against Israel for this cause before the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

Senegal and Cuba share solid positions in the multilateral arena, consolidating their diplomatic relations, which are approaching their 52nd year.
