Monday, February 13. The 2023 edition of the World Government Summit, which meets from February 13 to 15 in Dubai, began this Monday at the Madinat Jumeirah Convention Center. Cuba is represented by Gerardo Montenegro Morán, Director of Training of Cadres and Management Studies of the Ministry of Higher Education and Norberto Carlos Escalona Carrillo, Ambassador of Cuba in the United Arab Emirates.
The delegation attended the opening session, under the slogan "Shaping the governments of the future" and plans, on Tuesday, February 14, to present on the role that Cuba grants to higher education in the generation of capacities for the strengthening of States.
According to the organizers of the conclave, the Tenth Edition of the World Government Summit brings together some 20 heads of state and government, more than 250 ministers and more than 10,000 government officials, opinion leaders and global experts from around the world, who will enrich sessions and forums on various topics of global attention such as the sustainable future, climate change, the incorporation of science into decision-making, transparency in government management, among other contemporary aspects.
