Cuba Congratulates Nigeria on the 66th Anniversary of its Independence
As part of the activities marking the 66th anniversary of the independence of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Cuban Ambassador Miriam Morales Palmero attended a special service held at the National Ecumenical Centre. During the event, she had the opportunity to speak with the President of the Senate, the Hon. Godswill Akpabio, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the Hon. George Akume.
The Ambassador conveyed congratulations on behalf of the Cuban people and government on the 66th anniversary of independence, as well as wishes for the nation's prosperity.
For his part, the President of the Senate sent blessings to the Cuban people.
