Cuba exchanges experiences over Covid-19

Havana, June 3.- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez exchanged some experiences on fighting Covid-19 through a videoconference with Foreign Ministers of Germany, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Bruno Rodriguez reaffirmed through the virtual meeting that these are times of solidarity and of understanding health as a right and not as a commodity, he tweeted.
This principle has encouraged Cuba´s collaboration with some twenty nations, which it has aided by sending medical brigades specialized in disaster situations and serious epidemics.
Over 2,300 health professionals are currently serving in different nations to fight SARS CoV-2, which are in addition to the more than 28.000 that were already serving in 59 nations.
Cuba's Health Minister Jose Angel Portal, during his speech at the 73rd World Health Assembly, told the World Health Organization (WHO) the willingness to cooperate and share the experiences of his country.
Jose Angel Portal affirmed that neither the genocidal US blockade, cruelly tightened, nor the attempts to discredit and hinder international medical cooperation, have caused the solidarity vocation of the Cuban Revolution to be abandoned.
