Helsinki.- December 30, 2024.- A review of the bilateral issues was carried out by Ambassador Beatriz Parra González, in a virtual exchange with the Director of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, HE Mrs. Inga Krastina. During the dialogue, the Cuban diplomat gratefully highlighted Latvia's vote of support for Cuba's Resolution against the blockade, while mentioned the impact of this cruel policy on the daily life of its people.
The Caribbean representative also referred to the recent March of the Combatant People where 500 thousand Havana residents protested in front of the US Embassy, to demand the exclusion of the Island from the supposed List of State Sponsors of Terrorism, which also represented a sample of popular support for the Government in the midst of the intense adversities generated by the financial persecution and economic asphyxiation that the country faces, organized from Washington.
The Ambassador took the opportunity to wish HE Ms. Inga Krastina a happy holiday season and a prosperous new year 2025.
