Cuba expresses gratitude to Latvia for its support against the US blockade

UNGA 79: Foreign Ministers of Cuba and Latvia hold bilateral meeting

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, held a bilateral meeting with his Latvian counterpart, Her Excellency Mrs. Baiba Braze, within the framework of the Future Summit hosted by the Alto Segment Level of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, UNGA 79. In his account on the social network X, Rodríguez Parrilla expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity of the meeting and added:"In a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Latvia, Baiba Braze, he expressed #Cuba's will to strengthen bilateral relations based on mutual respect and cooperation. Director of Europe of MFA receives the new Ambassador of Latvia in Havana

The Director of Europe and Canada of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, HE Mrs. Iliana Núñez Mordoche received the Ambassador of Latvia in Cuba, His Excellency. Mr. Kaspars Ozolins. During the meeting, both authorities addressed issues associated with the possibilities of developing bilateral ties in areas of mutual interest. Ambassador Ozolins presented his credentials this Tuesday to the First Vice President, Salvador Valdés Mesa, and has had an intense agenda in Havana, which included other meetings with MINREX authorities.
