Cuba expresses its support for Venezuela during Solidarity Day in Türkiye.

As part of World Solidarity Day with Venezuela, held this Friday at the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Turkey, Cuban Ambassador Alejandro Díaz Palacios and Counselor Oscar Redondo Ramos actively participated in the event and signed a show of support for the Venezuelan people.

The event, held in the cities of Ankara and Istanbul, brought together citizens, social movements, and diplomatic representatives, who raised their voices against the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States government, reaffirming their commitment to peace, sovereignty, and the self-determination of peoples.

The participation of the Cuban diplomatic representation is a new expression of the deep ties of friendship, solidarity, and shared struggle between Cuba and Venezuela.

The Venezuelan Embassy in Türkiye especially thanked the Cuban Embassy for its solidarity and firm support, highlighting the importance of strengthening Latin American and Caribbean unity in the face of attempts at foreign interference.
