JAMAICA, 2nd November, 2018.- Next 6th and 7th November, 2018, the II Migratory Talks between the Republic of Cuba and Jamaica will be held in this capital.
During the meeting, the parts are expected to exchange on migratory issues of common interest, to explore mechanisms for cooperation that contribute to guarantee a regular, orderly and secure migratory flow, as well as to continue with the ongoing process of negotiation of the draft Memorandum of Understanding in this area.
The Cuban delegation will be headed by Ambassador Ernesto Soberon Guzman, Director of Consular Affairs and Cuban Residents Abroad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; while the Jamaican part will be led by Ambassador Alison Stone Roofe, Undersecretary for Bilateral, Regional and Hemispheric Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
The Cuban delegation´s agenda also includes a meeting with members of the Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica "Antonio Maceo".
