Cuba-Netherlands Platform Demands the End of the U.S. Blockade against Cuba.

Amsterdam, October 4, 2016. Officials of the Diplomatic mission of Cuba to the Kingdom of the Netherlands exchanged with the directives of the solidarity organization Cuba-Netherlands Platform, occasion on which they demanded one more time the end of the blockade that the government of the United States keeps against the Island. 

 

The Ambassador of Cuba Fermín Quiñones Sánchez shared details of the report of Cuba on the Resolution 70/5 of the United Nations General Assembly entitled “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba,” recently presented to the press in Havana and underlined on the need of continuing denouncing this unfair and unilateral policy that has caused suffering and damages to the people of Cuba for more than 50 years until it is finally overturned. He also mentioned that the vote for the Cuban Resolution in the United Nations will take place at the end of October like every year and invited the members of the Platform to watch it and spread the results.
