Cuba participates in the Coordination Meeting of Parliamentary Assemblies Against Terrorism in Istanbul.

The President of the International Relations Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power and President of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (PARLATINO), Rolando González Patricio participated in the Coordination Meeting of Parliamentary Assemblies Against Terrorism, in Istanbul.
PARLATINO is an organization that will celebrate 60 years of uninterrupted work in the service of democracy, human rights and regional integration next December.
At the end of his speech González Patricio said:
Dear colleagues:
"Reality places us before insufficient progress in the fight against terrorism. In order to move forward, we should, avoiding hegemonisms and ambitions, address with total honesty all forms and manifestations of terrorism, in all parts of the world, and State terrorism cannot be excluded under any circumstances.
It is not possible to eliminate terrorism by condemning some terrorist acts while silencing or justifying others. It is, for example, an ethical imperative that the use of the veto to prevent international action to protect the Palestinian people from the multiple and continuing acts of State terrorism they are suffering cease."
