Leiden, December 14, 2023. The Embassy of Cuba attended the Japanese Tables Evening, an event organized by the Dutch United Nations Student Association Leiden (SIB-Leiden, DUNSA) at the City Hall of Leiden.
During this evening students from Leiden University met diplomats from different countries. In an informal setting and during several rounds they discussed all kind of issues, such as international relations, the diplomatic life, and other more specific topics concerning the countries represented by diplomats. The event counted with the attendance of more than 50 diplomats and over 150 students.
This was an appropriate space for Cuba to reiterate its commitment to international law, to condemn the blockade against Cuban population and to confirm Cuba’s roll towards multilateralism.
The students expressed their gratitude for this exchange, and considered it very useful and interesting.
