Cuba will participate in the prestigious World Travel Market London (WTM), which for more than four decades has brought together the most important players in the global tourism sector. This will be another opportunity to present our country as a safe and attractive destination to the British and international public. The fair will be held at the prestigious ExCeL London convention center from November 5 to 7.
Cuba's presence at this event for more than 25 years demonstrates the importance of our country in the international tourism market, as well as the consolidation of alliances for the benefit of all players in the island's tourism sector.
This year, the Cuban delegation will be led by Pilar Álvarez Azzes, Director General of Marketing of the Ministry of Tourism, accompanied by representatives of important hotel chains, travel agencies and non-hotel groups. These are the foreign companies with the largest presence on the island, including Meliá, Iberostar, Archipielago International, Blau, Blue Diamond, Barceló, Havanatur, Cubasol, Gaviota, Roc Hotels, ATG Hotels and MGM Muthu.
WTM is a unique opportunity to interact with tourism professionals from different countries, with the aim of diversifying and promoting our attractive destination. During the event, bilateral meetings are expected between Cuban and foreign businessmen, potential collaborators and allies, to exchange ideas and sign important commercial agreements that will promote both investment and the diversification of Cuba's tourism offer.
At the meeting, the Cuban delegation will also be able to inform the British market about the novelties and strategic projections for the high season, as well as highlight the diversification of offers that allow Cuba to position itself as an attractive and sustainable destination, highlighting the values of our tourism management.
