Nigeria, December 11, 2021. As part of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Nigeria, Counselor Pavel Bauzá, Charge d'Affaires a.i. of Cuba in this country participated in the inauguration of a new embassy of the Côte D’voire in Nigeria.
The ceremony was presided over by the President of the Côte D’voire, Alassane Ouattara, who is visiting the country. During the ceremony, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Diaspora, Ms. Kandia Camara, declared that the work is an expression and symbol of the quality of the exceptional relations of friendship and cooperation between Nigeria and the Ivory Coast.
She stressed that the prospects for cooperation between the two countries are hopeful and revealed that with more than 860 billion CFA francs in world trade, Nigeria is her country's leading African trading partner.
The event was a propitious moment to exchange with prominent diplomats in Nigeria on different aspects of common interest.
