Kuala Lumpur, September 18, 2025. Cuba, as an Observer Parliament, is participating in the 46th ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary General Assembly (AIPA), being held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, until September 21.
The event provided the Cuban diplomatic representation accredited in the country, the interesting opportunity to exchange with parliamentarians from Brunei, country that is one of its concurrencies, and also with the parliamentarian delegation from the Philippines, in the session promoting women's participation in governance.
It was also possible to greet the delegations of member parliaments and guests from: Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Algeria, and Russia.
The event reaffirmed the importance of Parliaments in promoting sustainable development and inclusive societies.
