Cuba participates in VietnamExpo 2021 international trade fair

Cuba participates in the XXX International Trade Fair of Vietnam (VietnamExpo 2021), which takes place in Hanoi from April 14 to 17, with the participation of representatives from some countries.

On this occasion, the Caribbean country is represented at the fair by the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy and by companies from the construction, medical services and agribusiness sectors.

Last year, the event was suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the epidemiological situation is already under control and the presence of foreign delegations at the event shows that there is confidence in Vietnam's work in this regard and in its economic recovery, said the organizers, quoted by Prensa Latina.

The fair is attended by several of the country's largest trade partners, including China, the United States, Canada, South Korea, Japan, India, the European Union as a bloc, and various members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. For Latin America, Cuba is the only country present.

The Vietnam Trade Fairs and Promotion Company noted that this edition is a good opportunity for companies to present and access various business models, especially digitally. Its motto is 'Accompanying companies in the digital age'.
