Cuba congratulates Vietnam on the 81st anniversary of its independence

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, congratulated the Party, Government, and people of Vietnam on Wednesday on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the Southeast Asian nation's independence. Fidel Castro remembered in Vietnam on his 100th birth anniversary

Quảng Trị Province on Thursday held a ceremony marking the 100th birth anniversary of Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro (August 13, 1926–2026), honouring his enduring legacy and his special contribution to the friendship between Việt Nam and Cuba. The ceremony was jointly organised by the Provincial People’s Committee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba at Fidel Castro Park in Đông Hà Ward.

Vietnam joins international commemorations in Cuba honoring Fidel Castro’s legacy

From August 7-12, a delegation of the Communist Party of Việt Nam, led by Vũ Hải Hà, Party Central Committee member and Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Committee on National Defence, Security and External Relations, attended the 24th International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties (IMCWP) and the first international conference on Fidel: Legacy and Future in Havana.

Vietnam unveils 24-volume collection of Fidel Castro's selected works

A 24-volume Spanish-language collection titled Selected Works of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz has been unveiled ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Cuban revolutionary's birth on August 13. Castro is remembered as an outstanding leader of the Cuban Revolution and a close friend and steadfast comrade of the Party, State and people of Việt Nam. The National Political Publishing House, in coordination with the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information and Education, announced the new collection at a launch in Hà Nội.
