Oslo, May 17, 2023. Today several activities took place on the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of the Kingdom of Norway (Constitution Day). The ambassador of Cuba, Maité Rivero Torres, joined all of them along with her colleagues from the Diplomatic Corps.
Very early in the morning, she went to the Royal Palace, where she wrote a message conveying sincere congratulations to His Majesty the King and the royal family, as well as to the Government and people of Norway, for such a significant date.
Then, the Cuban diplomat enjoyed the traditional children's parade in Oslo, in which 30,000 children from 110 schools took part. The royal family, led by King Harald V and Queen Sonja, greeted them from the balcony of the Palace. (Embasy of CUba in Norway)
