Indonesia, August 20, 2016. A sample of the Cuban culture, traditions and of the tourist attractions of the island were exposed under the Culinary Summer Festival held in the city of Bandung, under the auspices of the Mayor of the city and the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the participation of Latin American and Caribbean Embassies.
The stand of Cuba which was visited by the Mayor of the city, Ridwan Kamil, was animated with articles representative of Cuban traditions, typical clothes, music, instruments and images of renowned tourist destinations such as Varadero, and also was the scene of a demonstration of salsa dance by representatives of the Diplomatic Mission, which was well received by the visiting public.
Internationally known for having hosted the Asia-Africa 1955 Summit and distinguished between Indonesian cities for the variety and diversity of festivals and cultural projects undertaken during the year, Bandung welcomed eagerly and strong interest the presence of the stand of the Caribbean island.
